I found the most beautiful flower
In the mad, broken maze
In the garden
Where I roam
Blue and silent
Sleeping in the shadows of sadness
Waiting for the light
To fill her
She wanted to open up and bloom
At last
Stretch out to the sky
And be free of the shadows
The cool breeze of loneliness
Of listless hopelessness
Basking in the soft fog
Of Oblivion
I found this flower
This beautiful living thing
In the garden
And she filled me with warmth
So I came to her
And built my home at her feet
Embracing her with the orange glow
Of the warmth she gave to me
And as I cleared away the years
The walls of debris
The light shone through
And I could see
How bright the garden was
When she unfolded
Fearless
For all to see
The majesty
Enchanting, graceful delicacy
Of the freedom
To be
Loved
